Deposit and Final Payment

We accept VISA, Mastercard, Eurocard cards.

We also accept American Express cards but paiements by American Express card are subject to a charge of 1.5%.

Your payment is not deemed made until it is received.

All payments are in Euros.

A deposit of 30 % of the trip price is required to confirm the booking. It is due when booking. The deposit forms part of your final payment.

The balance of the trip cost is due 45 days prior to departure. With your authorization, we can automatically bill your credit card when the balance is due.

Cancellation and Fees applying for all tours except "Tour de France trips"(see next chapter for Tour de France Trips)

If cancellation is received more than 30 days prior to departure, the following administration fees will be retained :

46 days and more :100 Euros

30 -45 days : 150 Euros

For cancellations received within 30 days of departure, the following per person cancellation fees apply:

30 - 21 days prior to departure: 25% of the total price

8 - 20 days prior to departure: 50% of total price

2 - 7 days :75 % of trip price

1 day prior to departure: 90% of trip price

On departure day and later: 100% of total price

Cancellation charges also apply to additional accommodation reserved prior to and after the tour (only for bookings paid by Cyclande )

If a tour is cancelled, an alternate tour will be suggested. If that tour is unacceptable, all money paid will be refunded.

Exceptions to this policy cannot be made for any reason, including weather or personal emergencies, but we suggest you to take out a cancellation insurance policy.

Cancellation and Fees applying for "Tour de France trips" only

If cancellation is received more than 90 days prior to departure, the following administration fees will be retained :

180 days and more :100 Euros

91 - 180 days : 300 Euros

For cancellations received within 90 days of departure, the following per person cancellation fees apply:

61- 90 days prior to departure: 25% of the total price

45 - 60 days prior to departure: 50% of total price

30- 44 days prior to departure: 75 % of trip price

15 - 29 days prior to departure: 90% of trip price

0 - 14 days prior to departure : 100% of total price

Group tours:

If we have to cancel for lack of numbers, we will notify you not less than 4 weeks before departure (and will refund you for the amount already paid). We will not cancel for lack of numbers after this time.

Miscellaneous:

There is no refund for arriving late or leaving a trip early

Cyclande reserves the right to make route and hotel modifications as needed.
On the rare occasions when Cyclande must cancel a trip, all payments received to date will be refunded, which constitutes full settlement.
Cyclande is not responsible for expenses incurred in preparation for any canceled trips, such as airline tickets.
Guests who fail to provide signed "Release & Indemnity" and personal information forms prior to trip departure will not be allowed to join the trip and the cancellation policy applies.

Young Tour Participants / child policy:

Tour participants who are less than 18 years old on the tour departure date must be accompanied by an adult.

First child sharing a room with two adults will be charged 30% reduction off the adult price.

Second child sharing a room with two adults will be charged 60% reduction off the adult price.

Hotel Accommodation:

Note for couples : when booking you may have preferred a twin-bedded room. instead of a double-bedded room. While every effort is made to reserve the twin-bedded rooms, it may happen that some hotels provide a double-bedded room instead. These rooms will be allocated to couples.
