This
trip has been specially design for parents with children:
daily distances, quiet roads, easy enough route, quiet
villages, gorgeous scenery, many places where to stop
and have some good time, several places where children
can play, possibilities to visit some castles, cave,
open air museum with the kids...But you will also
benefit of all the ingredients of our other tours in
the region: beautiful
scenery, lovely small roads and remote treasures
will be your daily bread...
The
route will lead
you to access magical places. Here, every step takes
you to a visible trace of human history like the countless
centuries old stone-built houses, the lovely villages
built during Middle Ages, the awesome monuments and paintings from
prehistoric times.
That
tour is 18 km a day as average. It is designed for parent(s)
with child(ren) using a tag along or fusing a child
bike.

Day 1:
Pick
up in the afternoon in Figeac (we can also arrange transportation
from Toulouse airport), a very nice town with lovely
streets and buildings as old as half a thousand years
...drive to a peaceful village nearby (with a playground
for children). First night in a very nice Bed and Breakfast
accommodation very typical from the area.
Days 2
and 3 :
The sublime parts of the Lot valley, surrounded of limestone cliffs.
A very high but narrow castle
but also a circular medieval village and its cirque
will charm you, as well as among others, a
castle on its rocky promontory. St Cirq lapopie famous
village: overlooking a bend in the Lot, The village
is perched on the edge of the cliff; the ancient houses rise up over the rocky slope
protected by the 500 years old church.

Days 4, 5 and
6 :
You may decide to visit
an unforgettable
prehistoric cave decorated with incredible 18,000years
old prehistoric paintings...
The
route is leading you
by the gorgeous parts of the Célé Valley, surrounded of limestone cliffs.
You are following the valley. Time seems to have no effect on this so well preserved area ...The
valley offers to visitors gorgeous scenery and lovely
ancient villages, an abbey from the middle ages,
some castles, a cave with prehistoric paintings, ancient
houses built into the cliff....

Day
7:
Breakfast
and drive back to drop-off point.
